...That would depend on our current age and how long we can be kept in this world in the first place, I imagine. Our original species might also influence that.

In all my four years of being here, I've come to discover I'm on the latter end of the see-saw of life, but I'm not sure how far. I can tell you one thing--I have a lot more grey hair than I started with.

Those could simply be due to stress, but still... There's a possibility you can reach the same age the eldest citizens of this world can achieve, but I've no idea what it is. Then again, they die while we cannot, so you could also grow much older.

Possibly...if it's stress then I'd believe I got every last one of them just before last Halloween! Putting on a haunted house is a lot of work.

And that's true...I wonder if it would be possible for one of us to become the oldest living human on the planet.

[That's... actually a really good question. Is there an age limit? At first Riku stares silently at the camera, tapping his chin. Then a thought pops into his head.]

Well, I remember bumping into this one old timer. He was bald, wrinkly, and the only hair on his face was a grey beard. Spoke with this gravelly voice, too. I figure he couldn't have been any younger than seventy.

[But that's just a guess. Either way, he stood out considerably compared to all the teens and kids running around.]

Well, I can't really complain.

[He shrugs his shoulders. Nineteen's a pretty young age, after all.]

It just feels weird getting older here. Next year, I'll be turning twenty. If my friend Kairi ever pops up again, that'll make her at least three years younger than me, four if she's from my time period.

It's not a huge gap once you hit your adult years, but for a teen? It's huge.

[But ultimately, that's his problem to deal with, not Jack's. Still, it's another thing to consider while being stuck in this world: aging.]

I don't remember much about being your age...or alive for that matter...but I do seem to remember those years all blowing by in the blink of an eye.

You've got that right. Sometimes I don't even feel nineteen-- it's just so weird to think about spending almost a fourth of my life in this place.

Makes me wonder how long we'll actually stick around. If there's some kind of limit.

Same here. I've heard dying doesn't work the same way... and with the presence of ghost pokemon, you really can't help but wonder if we'll end up as pokemon if we die here or if we'll come back to life.

I have read a few entries in books and in my pokedex that suggests some Pokemon used to be human. Especially Yamask.

That's what I heard. Maybe Pokemon are more than just the flora and fauna of this world if you look at it.
