[The feed opens on a slightly groggy but rather excited Jack cradling something round and darkly colored in the crook of one arm as he holds the 'Gear.

He's been scanning the comm and has seen that everyone else has received a surprise along with their gifts. HOWEVER Edgar the Murkrow who is on his shoulder doesn't look too pleased about the new arrival. It was a threat. Something that was going to receive more attention than her. CHRISTMAS BE DAMNED! Doc the Hoothoot manning the other shoulder wows the entire universe by actually looking interested in something for once.]

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas! I want to thank everyone for all the gifts! I'm so glad nothing bad happened this year!

Er-- I've got a question though. I've never taken care of an egg before...I know they're supposed to stay warm-- I've seen buzzards sitting on eggs. But uh...I'm not sure Doc and Edgar are big enough.

And I think Edgar might want to eat it....

Someone's told me that you're supposed to keep them safe and warm. I'm carrying my egg in my bag for now, though. I don't have any other place to put it in.

Yeah, I got one, too. [he turns the camera to show his "present".] They don't mind at all! If you ask me, they seem pretty excited to have a new buddy... to be. Well, aside from Sirocco, but nothing makes her happy, so that doesn't count.

Maybe all this holiday excitement has just made Edgar grumpy.

Why would Christmas of all things make anyone grumpy?

Well, it's very cold and I've been rushing all over the place getting gifts and not training. Maybe she's antsy.

Well, others have told me they can't be eaten...but I think I'm going to keep an eye on Edgar just in case.

It's funny! This whole time I thought only birds and snakes came out of eggs...but a friend of mine had a deer come out of one of hers. Can you believe that?

Yeeeeah, might be a good idea. [Dash hangs out fairly often with birds-- just part of being a pegasus. And she... doesn't like the looks Edgar is giving Jack's egg.]

This place is so amazing. I'd like it a lot more if I could just visit instead of living here though.
