[Boop! Today, Jack's feed focuses on a much more alert and determined face than his last video. His pokemon are healed, his spirits are high, and he is ready to prove to everyone that he is totally not zubatshit insane! Behind him looms the Sprout Tower, silhouetted by the sinking sun.]

Good mor--er afternoon! I have finally made it to the tower! It reminds me of home so much. The ghosts inside are going to point me the way home, but if I find a way back, I'll definitely visit! You have all been such wonderful company and great help! Edgar, are you ready?

[The Murkrow pops into the frame with her GAME FACE on. She has no idea what Jack's babbling about but she's seen some ratatta rustling around the grass at the tower's base and she's ready to go kick some purple rodent ass. "KROW!"]

Good! Not that I'm prejudiced against dead people or anything, but I kind of like being alive!

Now that I'm used to it, I don't think it's half bad either!

I could do without cuts though.

We all could! [ and because she's curious ] How did that work, though...? I mean, being dead-- you knew other dead people, right?

I did! A lot of good friends of mine are dead. Not everyone where I'm from is though. Some of us are what you would probably call monsters and--

[A spherical purple creature with a cool-whip dollop of white fluff on top floats in front of the camera. The Driftloon brushes against the side of Jack's head, making some of his hair stand up with static.]

...are much scarier than this. Hindenburg, shoo! Help me find the other ghosts!

Where are you from, anywa-- [ and now Kay gets interrupted by another Drifloon, only this one is looking at the screen and promptly fleeing behind her. ] -- Hey, Gummy, it's okay! They're friendly!

[Once Jack has shoved Hindenburg out of the way, he notices Kay's failghost.]

You got one too, huh? I'm from a place called Halloween Town. We don't have ANYTHING like pokemon there...except for Edgar maybe. We have crows and a Murkrow is kind of a crow.

Yeah, he's just shy... [ and at the prospect of a town named after an AWESOME HOLIDAY, she lights up. ] What a cool name! Does that mean you've got jack-o-lanterns and skeletons and mummies and ghosts??

[Jack breaks into a broad, toothy grin. He was proud somebody approved of his home.]

Exactly! I can't wait to get back.

It sounds like a lot of fun! I wish I could visit...

[Jack opens his mouth to say it might not be 'allowed' but then remembers he's the damned Pumpkin King. If he said it, it was so!]

I can't see why you couldn't! Once I find the way home, I'll visit and maybe show you around!

_{[The video feed starts getting static-y and Jack's words become muddled.]}

Sure, I'd like that! And--

[ Kay pauses, eying the screen oddly and giving it a shake. ]

Jack? You're breaking up--

_{[Jack is noticing the breaking up too and tries to mess with the buttons to bring Kay back into focus.]}

_{[Hindenburg lets out a warbly "Loooon!" of dismay and zips away.]}

_{[Every nerve in Jack's body fires off and then freezes as the Gastly behind him uses a Lick attack on the back of his head. The Poke'Gear goes toppling and points at the base of some dusty pokemon's memorial.]}

_{[The Poke'Gear continues to point at the monument across the room as Jack's cries and various declarations of DO NOT WANT come from somewhere off-screen.]}

_{[Being mercilessly tickled was also something new for the skeleton. And where was Edgar?

Hopping down some long corridor after a Rattatta because she had something deep and personal against the little purple mice.]}

_{[There's a sound a man makes when he's dragged down a ladder and given a wedgie. It's not too pretty.

"Loooooon?" A purple sphere floats by the 'Gear's view and peers in at Kay. Sorry, ma'am. This old tower holds no way home.]}

[ ... Kay is so very glad that Byrne is a fiercely protective Murkrow, having gone through tower shenanigans more times than she would have liked. However, she's just gaping at the cacophony, and trying to figure out what's going on with sound alone.

... It's making her sloooooowly turn pale, so by the time the Drifloon says hello, she's snapping to attention at once. ]

Listen, Heimlich-- .... no, that's not your name. Herman? Helium...? Hi... um... Hindenburg! You have to go help your trainer! His sanity and the straightness of his legs depend on you!!

_{["Driftlooon!" The little pokemon looks thrilled that the tiny lady in the Poke'Gear knows his name! He does a little spin and waves his tails. But-- the tiny lady was right! Jack didn't seem terribly fond of him. Maybe, if he helped, Jack would LIKE him!

The Driftloon salutes to Kae and abandons the Poke'Gear to float off-screen. "Loon, loon!" >8U HINDENBURG TO THE RESCUE!]}
