[The video is very shaky and blurry at first but eventually focuses on...Jack's hand. There is a thin cut stretching across his palm which bleeds freely. Behind it is the beach.]

This is the most amazing thing! Look! Look at this! I can feel the nerves firing off and-- everything! Wow! Hah!

...ow.

I cut it on this--

[He tilts the Poke'Gear down to show a bit of broken seashell in the sand by his feet. Edgar is nowhere to be seen.]

[He holds up his hand, which is now covered in a ridiculous amount of poke'ball patterned bandage tape.]

You've, uh, never cut yourself before?

That's a nasty cut you've got there.

So, you come from a town of dead people? [He briefly wonders if anyone he's... worked with lives there.]

... If you will forgive my bluntness, perhaps you should request someone's help so that you may treat your wound better.

... Crazy. I mean, I've seen people who used to be animals, but... well. Now that I think of it, there was another dead guy, too.

[Jack can't help but look embarrassed now.]

[Jack eyes his hand again.]

I'll stop by the Pokemon Center later, I guess. I've got to learn how to do this on my own. The next city is almost a week's walk away.

[Jack is very proud of himself, yes he is. Passing out and hitting his head on "Mom's" kitchen table was pretty lame.]

[He looks at his hand, which he's finally gotten around to wrapping up.]

No. I think...I think it'll be alright. I was going to go by the Pokemon Center later... how've you been?

Yeah, I didn't get infected from the bite Lady gave me -- [He holds up his hand, where you can still see two tiny bit marks reminicsant of his first encounter with the Sentret.] -- so you should be fine.

Me? I've been alright, I guess. I need to introduce you to someone, though, hold on-- [He whistles, and after a few moments a Pidgey flutters over from where it was resting with his other Pokemon, and it promptly...nestles itself into Phoenix's hair.]

...Pidge, what did I tell you about doing that.

[Jack looks like that question takes a little mental number crunching.]

I was a skeleton. I'm getting used to all this skin and eyes and hair business. It's not bad! Just different.

That's why I've been asking about graveyards. These Pokemon are nice, but I'd like to go back home for a breather.

[Jack suddenly realizes he's SORT of made a joke. What with his problem breathing in the beginning and all.]

Ehehehehe...heh. Uhm. Yes.

_{[... It takes Heather a bit to get that one. And then she GROANS.]}

[Jack hadn't honestly meant to make the joke, and knew it was ridiculous...but Heather's reaction was just too great.]

[Jack sucks in air through his teeth at the sight of Phoenix's bite. Oof! When Pidge shows up, the old king bites his lip, trying to contain a snicker. It didn't work too well.]

[He leans a little to get a better look at the pokemon.]

My friend Snake's got one of these!

[Jack, having won, throws his head back to let out some truly maniacal sounding cackling. And it feels good. He hasn't had anything to laugh about since ending up in this weird place.]

[Jack stares a little and tilts his head. The man on the other side of the screen isn't saying anything...oh well!]
