[The feed opens on the path winding through town. Jack is sitting under a tree near the entrance with his Poke'Gear pointed at it. Edgar occasionally hops into view, pecking at the ground. It's afternoon.]



Hello! Before Edgar and I head off in search of the tower with the ghosts, I thought we would stay around here a few days. Would anyone in the area want  to meet and swap stories? We're in Cherrygrove!

[He tilts the 'Gear up to point at the sign.]

Well, we're all trying to find a way home. [He shrugs, looking at Jack curiously.] The place you're from isn't...green? Don't you have, y'know, grass and trees and stuff? I mean, I'm not from here, but even my hometown has...green.

...Lady! Stop that, you're aggravating the poor thing. [He gives Lady his best >8C look, and she scowls a bit before backing off.] S-sorry about that.

[Jack's brows ping upwards. So everybody was in the same boat?]

Do you know if anyone's made it? Is there a door? The last time I ended up in another world, I fell through a door in the woods....and no. Well there IS grass but it's rarely green. It's a place called Halloween Town.

[That doesn't make you sound like a drug addict at ALL, Jack. And come to think about it...how did you even get back? Magic snowmobial?--He notices the mini fight brewing.]
