35 days till Halloween [video/action]
[Anybody passing by the Goldenrod Breeding Center will notice the front yard of the property is a horror scene of guts and flesh--pumpkin guts and flesh that is!]
[Jack is sitting in a folding chair enjoying the sunshine and elbow-deep in a pumpkin, scraping it out for carving. He's got his sunglasses pushed up on his forehead and a huge grin on his face. There are dozens surrounding him, most of them carved, each face more twisted than the last. His pokemon, Edgar the Murkrow, and One the Houndour are chasing each other around through the carnage.]
[He's got his 'gear in his free hand, holding it awkwardly because pumpkin goo has made it slippery .]
How is everyone today? We're halfway to Halloween! Well...almost halfway. Anyway, I'm warming up my carving skills because I haven't done it in over a year. I'm open to requests! Just go easy on me, I'm rusty.

[Jack throws himself into his work, having gotten a great idea. He knew a number of man-eating plants back home. ;-; Home. It's not long before he reveals the new jack-o-lantern baring a toothy flytrap sort of creature with long, curling vines across its side.]
How's that?
[Video]
[She eyes it thoroughly before beaming,]
It is perfect, desu!! A perfectly magnificent man-eating plant, desu!
[She praises the creation wholeheartedly, perhaps it might seem a little odd for a girl but hey, she really does like plants.]
[Video]
[Her joy over a mangled pumpkin only makes his grin grow wider. NEW FRIEND.]
[Video]
Thank you very much for carving it, desu!
[A pause.]
I do not know what your name is, now that I think of it, desu. My name is Suiseiseki, may I ask what your own is, desu?
[Video]
It's nice to meet you, Suiseiseki! I'm Jack.
[Video]
She nods her head politely, with a grin,]
It is a pleasure to have met you, Jack, desu!
[Video]
Same to you! I'm curious--what does desu mean? Is it from your home?
[Jack has learned all kinds of new words since coming here.]
[Video]
A-a-ah, it is simply a way of being polite when speaking, desu. I was taught to always have perfect manners, desu.
[She looks a little embarrassed because people keep calling her out on it, but that's still her story and she's sticking to it.]
[Video]
I was only curious! I've never heard it before. I think it's very nice. So it's like "Yes, sir." and "No, sir." then?
[Video]
even if your a dead guy)! You get a more confident, pleased looking smile and some rapid nods.]Y-yes that is quite right, desu!
[Video]
[And then Jack got weird looks from everybody ever the end.]
[Video] *You've just killed the mun, in a good way, congratulations /o/*
Until her smile grows in to what can only be described as that of a 'cheshire cat's', she looks a great deal more pleased than before if that were even possible. FINALLY, a human who gets it B3! A moment later responds to Jack in a rather boisterous tone,]
It is not a problem at all, Jack, desu! I am very happy to have been able to pass this knowledge on to someone else, desu.

I'll use it to the best of my ability, desu!
[Video] It's okay, I revive with chocolate \o/

[Oops that's an unpleasant looking mess.]
Ah-I must say, you seem to have a bit of pumpkin insides on your head now, desu!
[Video] adfslgg and then LJ was evil for days
[Just a little.]
What, here?"
[He pointed to the wrong side of his face.]
[Video] I think it's evil all the time, we just don't always notice it.
[Hooray for new things and for messing with people, it counts towards what one would call a very good day!]
No, no not there, desu. It is on the other side, desu.
[She innocently responds with a shake of her head, before pointing to the side of the face where it should be.]
[Video] WE MUST BEAT IT UP
Here, you mean?
[Video] AGREED~
No, that is wrong again, silly Jack, desu! It's here, right here, desu!
[She points a little more insistently at the area where the pumpkin is.]

You-I-That's! desu! Tricksy, desu! Tricky, silly, Jack, desu!
[She didn't make a lot of sense in the end at all really, but it's obvious she's embarrassed more than angry.]
