[The feed opens with THE SUN. It holds the great fiery sky-star center frame for a good half minute before anyone starts talking. The audio no longer warps as Jack is using a shiny new 'gear.]

Do you see that, people? That is the sun and it is glorious. Never ever forget how wonderful it is.

[The camera flips back around to show Jack's face and he looks...some kind of rough. He's got bags under his eyes and his color is a bit off--even for him. Even that goofy Exeggutor-print Hawaiian shirt isn't enough to make him look like his cheerful self. He blanks for a moment, as if he's forgotten why he even turned his 'gear on.]

OH! I'm finally out of that cave--er. Well. I suppose you can see that, huh? Dash and I made it safely to Azalea with the help of Mr. Cooper's Noctowl. Thank you so much, sir! I still owe you!

[Edgar flaps into the frame and lands on her trainer's shoulder, butting her head against his neck. She's worreid about him.]

I've...forgotten what else I was going to say. I'm so tired. I think I'm going to stay here in the Pokemon Center for a little while.

Have I missed anything? My poke'gear...malfunctioned while I was in the cave.

[DASH IS UNIMPRESSED. She crosses her arms and sighs.]
But you've gotta... Ugh, whatever. [Le sigh.] Laze around all you want. But while you're hanging out in here, I'm gonna go scope this place! [Lies-- she'll probably end up napping like a pro herself.]

But first things first... [She half-jogs over to the other side of the Center, and starts up what seems to be a little chat with one of the workers.

BRB Jack, picking up some eggs! Meanwhile, have a Gilda fluttering up onto the bench to sit with you! She's not... the best snuggling material, but hey.]

_{[Jack pulls the hem of his coat up over his head and grunts.]} Try surviving that cave when you're as old as Halloween itself.

_{[GRUMP GRUMP GRUMP]}

If I ever see another rock or hear another o-oddish again, it'll be too so-OOHN! _{[COLD BIRD. COLD POINTY BIRD]} Gilda! Not now!

[Gilda turns her head around, giving Jack a glare and a squawk.] Skrraaar! [DEAL WITH IT, OLD MAN. I LIKE IT UP HERE.]

Ugh, tell me about it... That, or another Zubat. [Oh, and there's Dash! Huh, that was fast. She's carrying two Pokemon eggs in her arms-- one orange, the other blue and red. She frowns at the stubbornly perched Skarmory.] ... Geez, Gilda, leave him alone already. [A grin.] Don't give him even more stuff to whine about. Heh! [SHE KIDS, SHE KIDS.]

_{[Jack pulled his coat off his head and returned the metal bird's glare.]}

So help me I'll cover you in fridge magnets...

_{[When Dash came back, Jack decided to ignore her teasing in favor of being curious about the eggs.]}

Where did those come from?

[Even more glaring action, even as Dash continues talking-- Gilda is a pro at this. COME AT ME, BRO. I AIN'T AFRAID OF NO FRIDGE MAGNETS.]

Some guys were just handin' them out over the 'gear a while back! Said they needed good homes, so I took 'em up on the offer, 'cause I'm an awesome trainer and all that. [She takes a seat on the floor, one egg on each knee.] And guess what! One of them's supposed to be a dragon type! And I dunno about the other one, but I'm sure it'll be awesome!! [Eeeeeee! She is clearly very excite.]

_{[Jack turns a little so that he's laying on the bench but now looking at his buddy and her newest team members.]}

Well that was nice of them.

Yup! [Beaming so hard right now!] Johto won't stand a chance! Hah! [She just really hopes the baby dragon is like Spike and not like the dragon that beat her up that one time. But let's not mention that, shall we?

This town is a little bigger than Violet. I wonder what kind of jobs are here.

Yyyyeah, that'd be kinda freaky. [Biggest understatement of the year-- it's Doc with more pointy edges.] Her name definitely suits her... But at least she's not the best flyer yet. [Oh dear, the Skarmory pretty much grew up in Union Cave. Wh-what if she can't fly at all?!]

... Huh, I wasn't even thinking about that. [Jobs, that is. Because all that was on Dash's mind was "freedom" and "gym battle".] Ya think there'll be something better than store clerk and Center worker? 'Cause, I mean... I'm not takin' that job again!

Oh, it's not so bad! You get to meet a lot of interesting people working in a store.
