1 day 'till Halloween [Video]

[The Poke'Gear, being held sideways, reveals the face of an older gentleman with trees behind him It's evening. There is a big white plaster over the bridge of his nose and an even bigger frown situated below it.]

Hello?

This is important! The ledges here are cursed somehow! Has anyone else noticed this? There has to be a very powerful witch behind all this.

[Jack's brows drift up at the thought of that. He adjusts his glasses.]

I would love to meet them! Strangest thing...I haven't encountered a single ghoul since arriving. Can anyone point me to a graveyard? I'm on a road called Route 29...I wouldn't suggest 46. At all. It's that way.

[Jack turns the Poke'Gear towards a mountainy road. His Murkrow, Edgar, who is also sideways, is tugging at a blade of grass next to the path.]

If you see a tree that looks like that, just turn around. Turn around and walk very very far away. It's not worth it.

Haven't met any witches yet, but if it's crazy haunted action you're looking for, the tower in this city is full of ghosts.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that you're new, though, so it'll take you awhile to get here.

[Jack can't help but look embarrassed. He grins crookedly. Poke'Gear is still sideways.]

That would be the right limb alright. And that would be fantastic, actually! What's the name of the city?

Mm...I don't think there is a graveyard here. Or at least..I haven't seen one.

[Jack blinks and scratches the back of his head, running those words through his brain a few times and coming up with ERROR every time.]

But...where would they put dead folk? There simply has to be one somewhere and I am going to find it!

_{[Eeeever so slowly, Heather tilts her head to the side to see better.]}

Violet. The closest one to you is Cherrygrove, if you're on Route 29. It'll take you a few days to get there.

Violet's about a week's walk from that.

[Jack is thrilled with this information. He breaks out into a huge grin only to cringe seconds later. His poor nose still hurts!]

Ah... I have not yet encountered a graveyard. No graveyard, or library.

Well...back home...we don't have graveyards either. Not exactly, anyway. But..I'm not really sure how things work here.

Maybe there's somewhere like that farther on...Why are you trying to find a graveyard?

I'm afraid I haven't seen any graveyard here...Have you really seen ghouls?

I'll just have to look! I'm looking for ghosts. The best place I can think of to look is in a graveyard.

[Jack winces and tries to adjust the angle of his Poke'Gear.]

This isn't looking good at all. No library either? There needs to be a law against this kind of thing!

[Jack has, by now, taken a seat on the side of the road to reply to his messages and deal with the awful thought that there may, in fact, be no graveyards. Big old 8C face.]

This is so strange...and yes, I have! I happen to b-- uhm...well, I was one myself.

[Jack wasn't liking this whole 'was' and 'used to be' business. Neither was the pounding between his eyes. Ow ow ow.]

I would not quite say a law, but it is certainly disconcerting.

Also, as if on cue, Gastly drifts up behind Nel like the zen creeper he is.] There are a few ghosts around, mainly in Sprout Tower. Also some used to be them.

I thought the same thing about the ledges. I haven't met a single witch that can actually use her magic here.

[Graveyard? Now that he mentions it... Ash hasn't seen one in this world... Odd. What was stranger is that this one was curious about not being around ghouls? ]

Edgar, please don't go into the grass! There are mutant purple rats in there!

[He turns his attention back to the Poke'Gear]

You can't get a raven to mind any more than a cat...behind you! There!

[Jack finally turns his device right-side up in his excitement. Finally! A will-o-the-wisp! Something he understood!]
