21 days till Halloween [text + attached image]

ATTENTION EVERYONE!

It has come to my attention that people do not understand the threat that Ledges pose. I have enclosed a photo and some helpful information with this post. I hope it is helpful.

FACTS ABOUT LEDGES:

-You can jump off of a ledge.
Most ledges are not very high. You can descend from one part of a path to another with few problems if your balance is good and your knees are still in-tact.

-You can NOT climb a ledge.
You will die. Injury is very likely and death is possible!
[ ^hasty edit is hasty! Jack has started to feel sort of goofy...but stubborn as ever!]

I HOPE THIS WILL BENEFIT PEOPLE IN THE FUTURE.

Sincerely,

Jack Skellington

Have there been documented cases of people actually dying from attempting to climb these ledges?

Someone should let that girl know she's dead, then.
dragonspeak: (We could talk about it while we walk)

That's thoughtful of you. I've seen a few of the newcomers get into trouble with those...though, I have to ask. [He tilts his head] Have people really died from climbing them?
tapestodiane: all of these are mine unless otherwise noted! (thinkingcoffee)

[Coop's not a headdesking kinda guy, actually. He'll take that into consideration for a second.]

I find it implausible that the disappearances are in any direct relation to people attempting to climb ledges, even if the physics pertaining to them are curiously warped.

I'm also not of the belief that people disappearing can be equated to them actually dying.

That's slightly different to 'you will die'. Some might even say 'over-dramatic'.
foolishwren: like what if you tried to sue obama and you just got a letter back saying "no" and he came to your house and did the worm (can you even sue the president)

This is because that pony girl decided to take a nose-dive off of one of those, isn't it.
dragonspeak: (I'm NOT an idiot--why can't he see that?)

...yeah, I know. Someone I know recently disappeared.

Yes, yes, if you insist. I suppose you'll be warning us not to go too close to the water edge next, or to be extra careful if we choose to ride our Pokémon ― after all, danger lurks round every corner.

[Mocking: Koschei is fond of it.]

... Perhaps you should rephrase something. Climbing a ledge is not quite certain death.
