58 Days till Halloween [FOURTH WALL EVENT]
[Today is One of Those Days but that isn't going to stop old Jack from trying to reach out. when the feed flickers on it reveals...nothing. There are busy streets behind him rife with general 4th Wall chaos but the gear moves as if it is being carried and not being aimed at anything in particular. It isn't like Jack to cam nothing (except when it is).]
Finally! Yes! Hello! I need some help! I can't seem to--BATS
[The 'gear clatters to the ground, doing several flips. There seems to be no Jack in sight although something is retrieving device from the sidewalk.]
I'm having a horrible time staying corporal and not the good kind of horrible!
[ACTION for ABSOLUTELY ANYWHERE ACROSS THE POKE'NATION--lunchtime to night time]
[What was that sound?]
[Was somebody standing over there just now? Surely it was just a trick of the light. No. No, it was not. The familiar form of Mr. Skellington in his traveling clothes is drifting around Johto and Kanto occasionally flickering in and out of sight as he struggles with things like not floating upside down and keeping his gear in his hands.]
[THIS IS NOT WHAT HE WENT TO HAUNTING SCHOOL FOR DAMN IT.]

Yukio on the other hand is a little speechless but he eventually finds his tongue. ]
Were... were you always a skeleton?

[Jack looks disapprovingly through one of his arms.]
You know I never gave the spirits back home enough credit for staying upright through all my speeches.

[ He'll shake his head a moment though, as if to clear the cobwebs from his field of vision. ]
Are you okay? Do you need help?

[ A frown as he assesses the environment. ]
You seem to be fine with that branch... I'm not sure what good tying you down is going to do.
[ And he nudges his houndoom forward. ]
Maybe you can hold on to Shiva's tail or horns for a while? At least until you stabilize.

Thank you very much, Shiva.

I can imagine you've probably been like this for a while now? Probably around the same time everyone started warping around again?
no subject
That's right. I woke up on the roof. At first I thought I had been working too hard...nothing strange has happened to you, has it?
no subject
Apart from the random teleportation, nothing else has happened to me.
[ He doesn't want to add "So far." and jinx it. ]
If this is anything like the last time, it should be over soon, right?

[ There's a pause here though. ]
Wait, Hitchcock? Are you a fan?
no subject
Why, yes! I'll admit that I've only discovered him recently but he knows what he's doing. The scariest thing you can show an audience is a closed door!
no subject
He certainly does. My father used to show me some of his films so... I've developed a taste for them. Vertigo was particularly good but I admit, I still haven't seen all of his movies yet.

It's a shame nothing I've found here has come close. As far as films go, anyhow. I've found one brilliant horror novel called Dig that I would recommend to anyone! I've given friends copies for Christmas before.

[ Mental note to self, there is more to do here apart from training his team. ]
Who wrote Dig, by the way?
no subject
[Complete and total brainfart. Jack opens his mouth...then closes it.]
It's on the tip of my tongue...this is embarrassing. It's my favorite! If I stumble across my copy I can send it your way.

[ And he trusts Jack's taste for one. ]
By the way, should we take you somewhere else? I don't think you'd want to be stuck with us the entire time...

[ Give him a second to check the direction though. ]
We're a little closer to Azalea right now so I'm not sure if that'll be okay. I'm afraid I don't have any pokemon that can fly yet.

It should be in this direction. Good thing we aren't too far.
