32 days till Halloween [video/Action for Goldendrod]
//ACTION- He's wandering around in Goldenrod hunting a job. Feel free to run into him!//
[A whole city made of lights is an awful lot for one little skeleton to take in all at once. There were shopping centers! There were movies! There were shows and elaborate battles and probably hundreds of places to eat. There were also casinos full of ringing bells, laughing people, and blinking lights.]
[Guess who really really liked the blinking lights.]
[Go on, guess.]
[Jack leans against the outside of a little diner with a Help Wanted sign in the window. It's early morning and he's waiting on whoever owns the place to show up. He's not wearing that grey and black coat he always has on. Or his gloves. Or his shoes...or pants. Instead, all the old king has on are a pair of black swim trunks, the red Exeggutor-print Hawaiian shirt he picked up forever ago, and a very, very humbled expression.]
[Oh, dear.]
//VIDEO//
[It's still early morning when the camera clicks on. Jack looks tired and maybe a little embarrassed. THERE BE SCARIER THINGS THAN LEDGES HERE IN GOLDENROD]
Good morning, Johto. I hope you all slept well. Goldenrod is different from any other city I've visited so far. It's taught me something I thought I already knew: everything in moderation.
[Yeah, he's flat-ass broke.]
I'm going on a job hunt today and was wondering if I could perhaps pitch in half on a hotel room for a few days with someone--just until I'm back on my feet. I don't have much money, but I have a few healing items. I won't cause you any trouble and I don't snore...I don't think I do.
[Jack yawns, as he's been out all night long.]
I think I've had enough of the nightlife in this place.

You don't have any shoes.

[He would have folded his arms if he hadn't been holding the 'gear.]

...
[ALL HE CAN DO IS MAD-FACE AT HER. She got him.]
Oh, fine, go ahead and laugh. I know you want to.

[As Heather laughs it up, Jack shifts his weight to his other foot and pretends to look at the watch he no longer has.]
So. What're you gonna do now that you're broke?
[He moves a little to reveal the Help Wanted sign on the window behind him.] I guess this shop owner's not an early riser.
... I'd recommend avoiding being put on the third floor, though.
