23 days till Halloween [action/prose]
This looks...familiar.
Jack stood in the shadow of Sprout Tower, gazing up at its peaked roof with furrowed brows—or they would have been, had he any. One had singed them off. Thanks a lot, One. Today, his Pokemon friends were out of sight. His hands were stuffed into his coat pockets and one well-worn shoe scuffed at the boards of the bridge that arced over the little Magikarp pond that surrounded the tower. As much as he’d hated the building (and felt silly for it because really, who hates a building?) he knew he was going to miss it.
Ever since he learned of it, way back in sunny little Cherrygrove, it had been his mission to find it. It was the closest thing to a graveyard anyone had mentioned and that would surely be the way home! All graveyards lead to home! When he found that it wasn’t, his spirits (and tailbone) had been more than a bit bruised. Jack gave up.
For a little while anyway.
Now that wasn’t being a spastic black and white blur destined for Violet, Jack took a step back and started learning what this Pokemon thing was all about—and more importantly, he started wondering just why he and his friends were here. Curious skeleton had always been curious. There had to be something to all of this.
Several friends and months later, here he was, finally ready to start looking again. He tugged the plaque he’d decorated under the Love Tree during the festival out of his coat and walked across the bridge. Keeping an eye out for monks and security, he casually made his way around the outside of the building. It had to be the perfect place.
He knelt down by a little stone Pokemon statue that had been placed by the building’s edge. It was a Raticate and though it wasn’t very Halloweenish, he thought it made as good a guardian as any. After gathering a few stones from the pond’s edge he placed the plaque against the statue’s base and propped it up. Then, he stepped back and looked at his handywork.
JACK LOVES SALLY
He doubted anybody would know who Jack and Sally were if they found this plaque, but he’d know and that’s all that mattered.
Jack was more than content to stay at the Tower for the rest of the afternoon, pitching berries into the pond and watching the wall-eyed orange fish fight over them. He wasn’t sulky this time around. The old Pumpkin King actually looked at peace.
[Action for Violet: Jack is derping around the grounds at Sprout Tower and feeding the Magikarp. Feel free to join him! It's a nice afternoon!]

[Puzzlette frowns a little, thinking.]
I wonder if one were to get lots and lots of them together all at once, if they would be stronger. I can't think of a reason any one would do such a thing, but...
Re: [Action]
The only attack Dennis knows is Splash...but if we got a whole lot of them together...maybe it would be called Tidal Wave!

Oh my...
Perhaps they're more dangerous than people think.
