Good morning-- er. Good night-- HELLO, Johoto!

_{[Jack wastes no time face-caming it up. He is all smiles and his murkrow, Edgar, is on his shoulder.]}

For anyone who's interested in attending the Dead Man's Party, we now have a date and location! It will be held in Goldenrod, on October the 27th! The lovely Miss Rangiku has offered her home to us for the evening. There will be refreshments, story swapping, and music if we can repair her piano in time.

Other Father, do you think you could help?

I'll be sending out invitations with directions to anyone who is interested. The living are welcome as well!

Dead Man's Party?

Ooh-! I do hope my party will be a success~! I'm sure the piano will be repaired too~! Luckily, all it needs is a few strings! It's a grand piano~! [ who knows how it got there because she just inherited the house. ]

Do you mind if I add some beautiful sparkle dust to the invitations~? I was thinking a lovely, inviting, orangish-pink~! For the hallow's eve spirit! [ Good thing she learned about this last year. ]

Are you certain the end of October is a good time for a party?

Yes! A get-together to celebrate all those who had died before arriving here in Johto.

_{[Jack thinks about that and while he isn't a huge fan of 'sparkle dust' of any sort, they are using Rangiku's house and she seems awfully excited.]}

I thought the end of the month would be better than hosting it on Halloween itself because...of things that tend to happen.

[He's... a little down at the moment, but he's really trying his hardest not to make it apparent.

Well, not celebrating the fact that we died, but the life that we lived beforehand. Plus, having something so important in common is a good way to make friends.

Things tend to happen even before the exact date. Early November might be safer.

Sounds like you're planning a small shindig, eh? I'm actually on the way to Goldenrod for a few things. If you want a hand with anything, I'm good with parties. Oh...Umm, name's Demyx by the way.

[And now he just had to wait for the confirmation. Of course, given that he was mostly sure already he could barely contain himself.]

Hi. [He's come to a decision on the party now.] I talked with the ones I'm traveling. It seems that we've going to be traveling to Goldenrod anyway, so I can participate.

_{[Cecil had a point. A very, very good point. But Jack was bound and determined to have a Not Quite Halloween as close to Halloween as possible.]}

Then let them happen. The date is set and with a house full of dead people, we'll be ready.

She is! In fact, she told me she'd like to meet us separably for tea so that we can discuss the party and the piano.

_{[There is a delay in messages as Jack is reminded not everyone has forgotten their time as a living person. And not every person had the best of lives.]}

Nice to meet you, Demyx! You'd be right. It's not going to be an enormous to-do, but you never know. I don't think it would hurt to have an extra hand or two on staff, welcome aboard!

[After a moment though she decides not to leave it at that. She should at least try to interact with people. Though she almost does, her death is a touchy subject still. Even after all these years and getting some peace.]

Do they celebrate holidays here then?

Absolutely! I've learned about a handful of holidays since coming here, such as Valentines Day and New Years Eve. I'm sure there are many more I've missed.
