We~ll, think I might've saved someone whilst doing so. It's better that way. [Technically he helped save a lot of people; who knows how many kids the Other Mother would have taken after Coraline.]

Might've. Not sure what happened after swimming. [He's pouting a little. It does make him sad that she might not have made it; he trusts her intellect and ability though.]

Shouldn't say. [It's obvious what it's related to. He's a lot more at ease about discussing it with Jack though, because he's the guy that really made him realise that 'Mother's not here'. She can't hear this. _Hopefully.
